Title: Account Manager
Location: Houston, TX

Key Points:
  • Huge customer base of major brands including Lowes & Dr. Pepper
  • Over 20 locations across the US
  • One of the largest material handling dealers in the United States
  • Autonomous work environment, supportive leaders without the micromanagement
Responsibilities:
  • Finds, penetrates, designs, presents solutions, and closes deals
  • Identifies, meets & develops rapport with target companies
  • Develops personalized business plans by customer account to ensure maximum customer and profit satisfaction
  • Meets or exceeds assigned market share and profitability objectives
  • Designs and implements a vigorous prospecting plan to find, develop and execute sales opportunities.
  • Sells all construction and material handling equipment from the Company portfolio to new and existing customers within assigned accounts and geography
  • Maintains detailed account profiles and prepares sales reports as required
  • Enhances professional delivery by continuously increasing product & industry knowledge and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborates and shares knowledge with various team members and departments
  • Attends and participates at company supported events and industry trade shows
  • Builds and maintains ongoing awareness of new products, services, competitor activities and market data
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of outside sales, new business development/hunting experience
  • Hunter mentality – We are looking for strong new business developers
  • Excellent Customer Service, communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding Sales skills and customer relationship building skills
  • Strong financial focus, cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision making and quantitative analysis
  • Thorough knowledge of all systems, procedures, techniques, equipment, operations, standards and reports that apply to the Branch

Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
