Responsibilities:
  • Actively seek out and cultivate new business opportunities via conducting market research, networking, and prospecting to identify potential clients. 
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with the existing clients. This entails understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the products and services provided. Regular communication and proactive engagement will be paramount to retaining these accounts and maximizing their value.
  • Craft compelling proposals tailored to the specific needs and preferences of each client. This involves conducting thorough needs assessments, recommending suitable solutions, and articulating the value proposition of the company's offerings. Proficiency in delivering presentations that effectively communicate the offerings and differentiate the company from competitors will be essential.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of customer interactions, preferences, and transactions. This includes documenting communication history, tracking sales activities, and recording any pertinent information that may inform future interactions or strategies. Accurate record-keeping is imperative for providing personalized service, tracking progress, and generating insights for decision-making.
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics. This necessitates a proactive approach to sales, including consistent prospecting, follow-up, and closing of deals. Leveraging sales skills, product knowledge, and market insights, drive revenue growth and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, developing new business; managing the selling cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Proven experience in transactional, high-volume sales roles, preferably selling to the construction or similar industry 
  • Demonstrates a hunter mentality, excelling in sales to blue-collar professionals
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills
  • Exhibits responsibility, punctuality, and proactive follow-up in all interactions
  • Motivated and assertive, thriving on the challenge of sales acquisition
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to effectively present and engage with clients
  • Presents professionally and is adept at building rapport across diverse demographics
  • Driven and ambitious, displaying a hunger for success in sales roles
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed

Preferred Experience: 
  • Experience selling roll-off dumpster or portable restroom rentals 

Education: 
  • A bachelor’s degree is not required
