Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead RFP/RFQ pursuits, the creation of compelling proposals, and interviews  that effectively communicate the value proposition and resonate with clients.
  • Strategically evaluate business opportunities, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and allocate resources accordingly to maximize impact.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative marketing strategies that differentiate the business in the market and drive growth.
  • Actively participate in industry conferences, meetings, and events to expand networks, stay informed on industry trends, and identify potential opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights on competitive offerings and market conditions, leveraging data to inform decision-making and enhance our competitive edge.
  • Take a leadership role in mentoring and guiding members of the Business Development team, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Cultivate and nurture long-term client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to drive mutual success.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels to build rapport and influence outcomes.
  • Identify key internal stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally to drive pursuit efforts forward, ensuring alignment and resource optimization.
  • Integrate company values into personal branding and interactions, embodying the core principles and enhancing brand reputation.
  • Effectively manage the sales process from lead generation to closure, adeptly addressing customer needs and concerns to achieve sales targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools efficiently to track sales activities, maintain data accuracy, and provide timely updates, facilitating informed decision-making and streamlined operations.


Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in business development with at least 5 years in architecture/engineering/construction industry.
  • Showcase a track record of industry leadership and recognition within the AEC sector.
  • Exhibit strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to effectively lead teams, prioritize initiatives, and multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to achieve business objectives.
  • Possess hands-on experience with CRM platforms, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive business growth. Additionally, demonstrate proficiency in market research methodologies to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Display a willingness to travel up to 10% as required to attend client meetings, industry events, and other business-related activities, fostering meaningful relationships and expanding market reach.
Education: 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
