Chemical Sales Manager

Title: Sales Manager
Location: remote work anywhere on the East Coast of the US.  Relocation  to Philadelphia, PA when an office opens. Relocation assistance provided by company,

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect, identify, and prioritize potential manufacturers and distribution partners in target markets to develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct extensive market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential leads.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead generation techniques.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and achieve sales targets.
  • Engage with key decision-makers at prospective companies to understand their needs, challenges, and buying processes.
  • Present and demonstrate our products/services effectively to prospects, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreement with potential clients to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new clients.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, progress against targets, and market insights to management.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and enhance brand visibility.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills through training, self-study, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and customer-centric approach in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting its values, mission, and commitment to excellence in all business dealings.
  • Strive to exceed sales targets and KPIs while upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical sales with a demonstrated success in developing and maintaining relationships with CASE industry clients and distributors
  • Strong understanding of chemical products and their applications across various industries
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Education: Bachelor's degree required
