Our client is a trusted, family-owned, supplier of capital equipment and engineered solutions with 20 locations throughout the US. Due to growth and market expansion, Naviga has been retained to recruit a Wholesale sales Representative.

Title: Wholesale Sales Representative
Location: Chesapeake or Richmond, VA

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with dealers, wholesalers, and distributors
  • Drive negotiations and finalize agreements to optimize profit margins and inventory turnover
  • Innovate alternative channels for retired rental assets
  • Scout and secure fresh business opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, aligning seamlessly with company goals
  • Identify potential auction items from surplus inventory or end-of-life products

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in procuring wholesale equipment, particularly in material handling or industrial sector
  • Strong understanding of wholesale distribution channels
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment and the distinct requirements of this industry
  • Travel to various locations throughout the region
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
