Responsibilities:
Provide hardware and software assistance to employees and clients
Answer questions or resolve computer issues in person, via telephone, and/or electronically
Install, configure, and support hardware and software setups (desktops, laptops, printers, word processing, electronic mail, mobile devices, operating systems)
Troubleshoot and repair following technical issues
Network connectivity issues
Data restoration
Hard drive and display failures
Printer difficulties
Provide loaner equipment to minimize work disruption
Set up, support, and maintain inventory on the following
Laptops
Desktops
Monitors
Firm & personally owned mobile devices
Create and monitor trouble tickets to document work activity
Assist in training employees on the appropriate use of the following hardware and software
Video conference systems
Telephony and AV systems (Crestron, Teams, Zoom Rooms)
VPN and remote access
Smartphones
Regularly set up meetings in accordance with firm standards
Video conferences
Projectors
Loaner equipment
Network connections for usage and presentations
Requirements:
2 years’ experience providing support to end users, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and installing PC and peripheral equipment
Experience and/or knowledge of MS Windows, Office, device configuration, troubleshooting, OS configuration, network printing, and the installation of hardware and software
Working knowledge of MS Windows and network communication concepts
Strong verbal and written skills required to communicate technical information to staff of all levels
Good organizational skills required to track and resolve a variety of issues in a timely manner
Detail-oriented and able to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
Preferred Requirements:
ComptTIA A+ or equivalent certificate
Flexibility to work overtime or irregular hours as needed
Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment
Experience providing technical support to C-Suite/executive-level professionals
