Plant Manager

Naviga is recruiting a Plant Manager for our client, the largest designer and manufacturer of swimming pools in North America. 
Title: Plant Manager
Location:  Williams, CA (relocation assistance will be provided)

Responsibilities:
  • Lead safe and compliant plant operations, ensuring adherence to EH&S policies and OSHA/MoE/MoL standards
  • Oversee production to meet order fulfillment and SLA requirements while maintaining plant and facility security
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, throughput, labor utilization, and material efficiency through Lean Six Sigma initiatives
  • Manage capital expenditure projects (CER), Variable Cost Productivity (VCP), and Base Cost Productivity (BCP) for measurable ROI
  • Oversee recruitment, staffing, succession planning, performance reviews, salary administration, and cross-training programs
  • Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and open communication, while partnering with HR to enforce company policies
  • Manage Latham headquarters, including maintenance and facility oversight
  • Collaborate with shared services leaders (Quality, EH&S, Planning) and participate in Project Management Office (PMO) activities

Requirements:
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
  • 10+ years of management experience in manufacturing or engineering, including:
    • 5+ years managing capital expenditures
    • 5+ years utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies
    • 3+ years in plant operations
    • 3+ years in installation or logistics 
  • Knowledge of permits, scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred)
  • Experience in budgeting, accounting, and financial principles
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and decision-making skills
  • Expertise in safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and employee relations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to interpret business reports
  • Familiarity with logistics, including oversized loads, crane, and forklift operations

Travel: Less than 10%, with occasional overnight stays

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Science, or a related business field
  • Associate’s degree considered with equivalent experience
