Title: Mid-Level Telecom Associate
Location: Hybrid -Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and third parties, both verbally and in writing
• Draft clear, accurate, and persuasive legal documents, reports, and communications
• Provide expertise in telecommunications regulatory issues, including the Communications Act and FCC regulations
• Support clients with navigating complex telecommunications laws and regulations
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality work within established deadlines
• Produce accurate, timely, and well-organized work products
• Collaborate with other team members and professionals to achieve client goals
• Demonstrate leadership potential and contribute to managing the work of others as needed
• Participate in digital/virtual conference calls and meetings as needed
• Adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments while managing competing demands
• Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned by leadership

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice in Washington, D.C.
• 3-5 years of telecommunications experience
• Prior experience with a law firm or FCC is preferred
• Interest in telecommunications and spectrum-based technologies
• Expertise in telecommunications regulatory issues under the Communications Act and familiarity with FCC processes
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Attention to detail with strong business judgment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Research and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to influence and persuade others
• Management potential and leadership abilities

Education: 

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally ranked law school
