Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day service operations of the Dothan branch, managing technician productivity, dispatch, and department budgets.
Partner with the Branch Manager and collaborate closely with the parts and sales teams to ensure a unified customer experience.
Serve as the face of the service department, modeling exceptional customer interaction and driving satisfaction and retention.
Ensure service metrics are met or exceeded, while maintaining strong operational efficiency and team morale.
Provide leadership, support, and accountability to the team of seven technicians and related staff.
Implement best practices in technician scheduling, safety, and service quality.
Contribute to branch-wide performance meetings and work closely with regional leadership on strategic goals.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing technicians in a machinery, heavy equipment, or related service environment.
Strong customer service and leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and resolve challenges proactively.
Experience with technician dispatch and service department KPIs.
Strong communication, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
