The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly entrepreneurial Channel Sales Manager to spearhead the expansion of their U.S. dealer network. This pivotal role will focus 75% on hunting and signing new dealers, with the remaining 25% dedicated to keeping current dealers engaged, motivated, and growing.


You’ll be instrumental in shaping a new market, providing valuable market intelligence to guide U.S. strategy, and building strong, lasting dealer partnerships. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and managing key relationships to position our client’s brand as a premier name in the U.S. shade industry.
 

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy to expand the U.S. dealer network, with a primary focus on acquiring new dealers and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
  • Identify, target, and secure new dealer partnerships through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry outreach.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new dealers to ensure alignment with brand standards and product expertise.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with existing dealers to drive sales growth, product adoption, and brand loyalty.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to provide insights that inform U.S. sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create dealer-focused programs, promotions, and sales tools.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and dealer meetings to promote products and strengthen market presence.
  • Monitor dealer performance, set sales targets, and implement strategies to meet or exceed goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager with proven experience in the high-end shade product industry, ideally with a background at a manufacturer or dealer in a similar capacity.
  • Candidates from parallel industries - such as outdoor kitchens, premium outdoor living solutions, or high-end building materials - who have successfully built and managed dealer networks will also be strongly considered.
  • This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the U.S., but a West Coast location is advantageous.
