Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, shadowing, and joint customer meetings to provide real-time feedback and sales coaching.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new customer acquisition and grow existing accounts in a monthly recurring revenue model.
  • Monitor individual and team performance using KPIs, sales metrics, and pipeline reviews, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by recognizing achievements, addressing performance gaps, and encouraging professional growth.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and BDR teams to ensure alignment on lead generation, product positioning, and customer retention strategies.
  • Provide training on sales processes, value-based selling, negotiation, and objection handling specific to the software industry.
  • Ensure consistent use of CRM and sales tools for accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and activity tracking.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to equip the team with competitive insights.

Qualifications

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing outside sales teams.
  • Balanced Management Style: Skilled at supporting seasoned, top-producing reps while effectively onboarding and mentoring new hires to full productivity.
  • Industry Expertise: Background in a monthly recurring revenue sales model with both hardware and software components.
  • Process Builder: Enjoys creating, refining, and evolving sales processes, rather than simply operating within a rigid corporate framework.
  • Growth Mindset: Thrives in a fast-growing, evolving organization where agility, adaptability, and continuous improvement are key.
