The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a professional who will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and key liaison between the Human Resources department and business units for the full HR lifecycle. This role blends core HR Generalist responsibilities with strategic business partnering to enhance employee engagement, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness. This Senior HRBP will be critical in driving cohesion across four of their offices in Texas, providing expert guidance to support approximately 270 non-leadership and approximately 10-15 executive and director level employees during a significant HR transformation. Collaborates closely with company leadership to develop talent strategies that support the achievement of business goals while fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture. Ensures company standards comply with and are executed consistently with organizational direction.

  • Lead strategic HR projects for industrial group-wide HR initiatives (e.g., policy consolidation, Workday HRIS rollout).
  • Provide expert guidance on performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, reviews, and improvement plans
  • Address employee relations matters, such as workplace complaints, policy violations, and engagement issues; offer confidential guidance to employees and leaders

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are

  • You have 6+ years of progressive HR experience, specifically including HR Generalist and strategic partner responsibilities. Must have significant experience with employee relations.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree from a brick-and-mortar college (not online) in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven familiarity with ADA accommodations and the ability to interpret and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Able to travel less than 25% for required purposes, such as visiting branches (approximately twice per year) or training.
  • You demonstrated success in managing HR functions within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be a strong cultural fit, a factor that will ultimately be prioritized over experience and expertise.

This professional is inherently team-oriented and relational, thriving on building strong bonds in the workplace and demonstrating a genuine commitment to being a "good person."

Must be an influential and courageous leader, capable of professionally pushing back on management and delivering sound recommendations to mitigate company risk, especially in a business unit new to heavy HR involvement.

This person is an adaptable change agent, comfortable operating in the "gray" areas of the business and excited by the prospect of cleaning up processes and managing a high degree of organizational change.

Finally, a PHR or SPHR certification is a plus, as is an MBA.

Why Join This Team?

This is an opportunity for you to not only manage core HR operations but also shape new, cohesive policies and processes, making you a key strategic partner and change agent from day one. You will benefit from strong mentorship and professional development coaching by reporting directly to two professional and knowledgeable senior leaders who are committed to your growth. The role offers a competitive base salary combined with robust benefits that include a 6% ESOP Account contribution and Profit Sharing based on branch performance.
