The Opportunity
The Account Executive position is focused on driving new revenue growth by converting qualified leads and building long-term client relationships. You will be the primary face of the company, responsible for selling On-Demand (OPI/VRI) interpreting services—along with the full range of translation solutions—to key verticals: Healthcare, Law Firms, and Educational Institutions. Success requires high activity, specifically conducting a minimum of 30 customer meetings per month, and achieving a 10-20% close rate on qualified leads. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a strategy to achieve and exceed individual and team quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong client relationships, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Proactively drive client acquisition by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Conduct presentations, product demos, and negotiations with prospective and existing clients.
- Document and track all activity daily on Copper CRM (including pipeline, communications, and outreach).
- Collaborate with internal teams on seamless client onboarding and support, and assist with developing RFPs, RFIs, and RFQ responses.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and client challenges.
- Provide support as needed at tradeshows and networking events; travel as required across Southern California.
Who You Are
- Proven track record in B2B sales or account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with high-level clients.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
- Proficiency required in CRM tools (Copper CRM preferred) and sales analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Spreadsheets, and PowerPoint is expected.
- General knowledge of the language service industry is highly preferred.
- Experience in RFP responses/submittals is a plus.
