About Our Client
Our client is a highly respected, 17-year-established moving company serving the Tampa Bay area. With a reputation built on reliability and quality, they have historically reached annual gross revenues of $2.7M. Currently, the business operates on a highly efficient, turnkey model using subcontracted movers who handle all field operations (trucks, labor, maintenance).
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal, "temp-to-perm" Marketing & Operations Manager role designed for someone to step in and become the "voice" of the business as the owner reduces his daily involvement. Operating 100% remotely (following a 2-week in-person training period), you will have significant control and "skin in the game". You will replace the current call center function, taking direct ownership of leads, quotes, and scheduling while spearheading marketing efforts to increase profitability.
What You Will Do
- Marketing & Content: Write industry-related blog posts, add city pages to the website, and utilize tools like ChatGPT and WordPress to boost organic presence.
- SEO Collaboration: Work closely with long-term partner Steve Scott to understand and execute SEO strategies.
- Lead Conversion: Manage incoming leads to maintain a 40–45% conversion rate and handle all customer quoting and scheduling.
- Reputation Management: Monitor and drive Google reviews, ensuring movers are incentivized for positive feedback.
- Operations Oversight: Manage the CRM (Elromco) to track moves, communicate with customers, and ensure crews are not overbooked.
- Multimedia Growth: Begin capturing and utilizing pictures and videos from moves for social media and YouTube content.
