The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on driving revenue through the sale of specialized "Reputation and Brand Strategy" services. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you will move prospects through the entire sales cycle—from initial discovery to deal closure. This is a remote, growth-oriented position that plays a critical role in hitting the organization’s annual revenue targets.
The Location & Territory
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote / Work-from-home.
Geographic Preference: While remote, there is a strong preference for candidates residing within the Midwest to East Coast regions (Eastern or Central Time Zones).
Travel: Periodic travel is required for on-campus presentations, industry conferences, and internal team meetings to foster institutional relationships.
What You Will Do
Prospect and build a new business pipeline within an assigned territory of higher education institutions.
Identify and develop opportunities specifically within university marketing and communications departments.
Conduct in-depth discovery with prospective clients to identify institutional pain points prior to presenting solutions.
Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations, both in person and virtually.
Manage inbound leads and navigate complex sales cycles to secure new multi-year contracts.
Collaborate within a team-selling environment and maintain accurate sales forecasting via CRM.
Gather competitive intelligence and market data to strengthen institutional positioning.
Who You Are
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: 2–3 years of proven success selling services or consulting solutions specifically to colleges and universities.
Sales Acumen: A documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing complex deals.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to translate complex service offerings into clear value propositions.
Mindset: A persistent, solutions-oriented "hunter" who thrives on follow-through and relationship building.
