Naviga Recruiting & Executive Search is proud to partner with a leading global business law firm to find a collaborative, results-oriented Legal TA Assistant to join their team.
The Opportunity
This is a 2-3 month contract-to-hire opportunity for a Legal TA Assistant. While the role begins as a contract position, there is a strong intent for it to convert to a permanent role based on performance. This is a fully remote position.
What You Will Do

Data Management: Process incoming resumes into the database, maintain candidate files (on and off-site), and ensure all information is meticulously organized.

Candidate Communication: Create and send status updates and correspondence to candidates throughout the hiring process.

Recruitment Support: Track lateral searches and keep the Director, Manager, and Partners informed on search status.

Interview Coordination: Assist with scheduling candidate interviews, managing in-house schedules, and collecting interview evaluations.

Associate Programs: Maintain interview calendars and contact lists for summer and fall associates; assist with the digital input of bios and photos.

Administrative Oversight: Draft professional letters and memos, design department invitations/announcements, and retrieve off-site files for Bar Character forms or government agency requests.

Communicator: You possess the strong interpersonal and presentation skills required to interact with legal staff and candidates daily.

Organized: You have the time-management skills necessary to coordinate complex programs and meet tight deadlines.

Adaptable: You work effectively under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment without losing your meticulous attention to detail.

Experienced: You have up to one year of experience in an administrative support role, ideally supporting a full recruitment cycle.

Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Taleo, is preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
