This role is based in Dallas, TX, serving as a central operational hub for our rapidly expanding business footprint. As a key executive, you will benefit from the thriving local corporate ecosystem while collaborating seamlessly with multiple regional offices and managing an international offshore support team.What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor a comprehensive finance department of approximately sixteen professionals, encompassing a Director of Finance, Controller, Treasurer, FP&A specialists, and an offshore transactional team.
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and executive board, translating complex financial data into meaningful business insights that drive confident decision-making.
- Spearhead post-merger integration efforts, specifically focusing on consolidating disparate legacy systems into a unified, highly efficient operating model.
- Manage and strengthen critical external relationships with private equity sponsors, lenders, and banks, including leading covenant restructuring and capital structure planning.
- Oversee comprehensive risk management initiatives encompassing legal contract reviews, lender compliance reporting, and corporate tax strategies.
- Drive continuous operational improvement by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and establishing robust financial rigor across all growing business units.
Who You Are
- Extensive leadership experience within a private equity-backed business, demonstrating a clear track record of driving operational improvement and value creation.
- Proven success in leading or integrating mergers and acquisitions, particularly in streamlining operations and financial systems post-acquisition.
- Deep expertise in FP&A leadership, including advanced forecasting, budgeting, business planning, and intricate performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to confidently manage relationships with external stakeholders, including lenders, banks, and institutional investors.
- Familiarity with modern financial and operational tech stacks, ideally including systems like Sage Intacct, Salesforce, ConnectWise, and Paylocity.
- Experience in IT solutions, technology distribution, or managed services is highly advantageous, especially regarding margin optimization, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations.
