The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take an established and successful event platform and determine what comes next.Key areas of focus include:
- Develop and execute the Americas growth strategy for the portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to expand into adjacent markets, sectors, and customer segments.
- Strengthen the value proposition for attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and partners.
- Identify opportunities for new products, events, partnerships, and other revenue streams.
- Work closely with Sales to understand market feedback, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for expansion.
- Provide strategic direction and commercial leadership across Marketing, Content, Operations, Editorial, Finance, and other supporting functions.
- Establish clear priorities, accountability, and momentum across cross-functional teams.
- Monitor financial performance and work with Finance and functional leaders to drive revenue, profitability, and return on investment.
- Challenge existing approaches and continuously look for ways to improve the customer experience and commercial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior industry leaders, strategic partners, associations, and other key stakeholders.
- Represent the portfolio externally and serve as a highly visible ambassador in the market.
- Identify potential strategic partnerships, acquisitions, or other opportunities that could contribute to long-term growth.
