Community Association Manager (CAM)
Opportunity
A growing residential community management organization is seeking a licensed Community Association Manager to take ownership of an expanding portfolio of single-family homeowner associations across Central Florida. Joining as the first dedicated community management professional, you will work directly with company leadership and serve as a primary point of contact for residential developers, association boards, and homeowners.
This is a hands-on opportunity to manage communities from day-to-day operations through budgeting, vendor coordination, board meetings, and resident communications. With an initial portfolio focused on communities still under development, you will help coordinate the administrative and financial requirements of developer-controlled associations while supporting their eventual transition to homeowner control. For an experienced professional who values accountability, autonomy, and the opportunity to help build a growing business, this role offers meaningful ownership and the potential to take on broader leadership responsibilities over time.
About the Company
This residential community management organization partners with developers and homeowner associations to oversee the financial, administrative, and operational responsibilities of residential communities. The company is building a service-oriented management platform focused on responsive communication, accurate financial administration, reliable vendor coordination, and consistent follow-through.
With an initial focus on single-family communities in Central Florida, the organization is establishing its operating processes and technology infrastructure as it grows. The team values practical problem-solving, accountability, and direct access to leadership, creating an opportunity for its first community management professional to help shape how the business operates and develops.
Location
This position offers a primarily remote work arrangement, with the initial portfolio concentrated in the Ocala, FL (Marion County) area. Candidates based in Ocala or the surrounding region are preferred, though candidates elsewhere in Central Florida (Orlando or Tampa Bay) may be considered if they are comfortable with regular local travel.
The role requires recurring visits to managed communities for site walkthroughs and board meetings, generally at least monthly for each community. Additional travel within Central Florida may be needed as the portfolio expands.
What You Will Do
Education & Qualifications
This is an opportunity to become the first dedicated community management professional in a growing business, with direct access to company leadership and meaningful ownership of the initial portfolio. Rather than joining a large organization with established layers of management, you will have the opportunity to help develop operating procedures, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the way the business grows.
As additional communities are brought under management and the team expands, the role may offer a path toward senior management, oversight of other community managers, and broader operational leadership. The company is seeking someone who values autonomy, takes pride in delivering dependable service, and is interested in growing alongside the business.
