Our client is a premier global law firm known for its excellence in legal representation and a commitment to fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. With a presence in major markets worldwide, they offer an environment where legal professionals can thrive while working on complex, high-stakes matters.
The Opportunity
We are seeking two detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegals for a 6-month contract assignment. This is a critical role providing substantive support for real estate transactions during a high-volume period. For the right candidates, there is a temp-to-hire opportunity to transition into a permanent role with the firm. The goal is to have both positions started by the first or second week of April.
The Location
This position is open to candidates in Philadelphia, PA or Atlanta, GA. The role follows a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM ET. While initial training will require an in-office presence, the firm offers significant flexibility for a hybrid arrangement thereafter, with in-office attendance becoming rare once training is complete.
What You Will Do
Under the supervision of attorneys, you will perform substantive legal duties to support real estate matters across various offices:
Transaction Support: Assist with due diligence for real estate transactions; develop, monitor, and update closing checklists.
Document Coordination: Prepare required documents and coordinate the execution and delivery of documentation to opposing counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, and vendors.
Title & Survey: Order, review, and analyze title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys.
Administrative Support: Assist with tax-related applications (consolidations/divisions) and manage data rooms and matter files.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional capable of managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: You have at least 1 year of paralegal experience (with a bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate) OR at least 5 years of specialized legal support experience in Real Estate (without a degree/certification).
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. Familiarity with legal research and document tools such as Relativity, LexisNexis, or Westlaw or similar applications is required.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills are essential for daily interaction with staff, attorneys, and clients.
Professionalism: You are committed to delivering a timely, accurate, and high-quality work product.
Why Join the Team?
Career Growth: This contract role offers a clear path to permanent employment for top performers.
Comprehensive Benefits: Includes access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
