The Opportunity

A national supply chain and distribution company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to direct full-cycle HR operations at a regional fulfillment facility. This key leadership role requires a dynamic HR professional who thrives in fast-paced operational environments to drive employee engagement, workforce retention, and site-wide performance. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to site leadership while maintaining hands-on oversight of employee relations, recruitment, safety, compliance, and leave administration.

Location
  • Location: Harrisburg, PA (Onsite)

  • Schedule: Full-time, permanent position. Daily onsite presence is required to partner directly with local facility operations, logistics managers, and floor staff. Standard hours with flexibility needed for occasional overtime or shift support based on operational demands.


What You Will Do
  • Facility HR Leadership: Oversee daily HR operations across all site departments, ensuring alignment between human resources initiatives and operational goals.

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage high-volume recruiting, orientation, and onboarding programs to maintain optimal staffing levels.

  • Employee Relations & Culture: Coach and advise facility management through complex workforce matters, conflict resolution, and performance management.

  • Leave & Claims Administration: Manage site leave programs, including Workers' Compensation cases, FMLA, and ADA accommodations to resolution.

  • Safety & Compliance: Collaborate with facility leadership to maintain workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and unemployment claims administration.

  • Payroll & Timekeeping: Audit workforce timekeeping and attendance tracking systems to ensure accurate operational reporting.


Who You Are
  • 6+ years of progressive HR generalist or management experience within a high-volume distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Direct experience managing Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and ADA accommodations.

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships across both warehouse floor personnel and corporate management.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with sound judgment in fast-paced environments.

  • Proficiency with enterprise HR software, timekeeping systems, and MS Office.

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.


Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience and certifications (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) will be strongly considered.
