About Our Client
Our client is an outsourced family office and private wealth firm currently headquartered in Denver, with a strategic initiative to establish its new home office in Tampa, Florida. The firm serves high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, typically managing assets between $5M and $100M+. Operating with a consulting-first approach, the firm moves beyond traditional asset management to solve complex financial and operational problems, including business consulting, estate planning coordination, and comprehensive balance-sheet reporting. The firm is currently undergoing a full operational rebuild and a "clean reset" of its culture, focusing on building a scalable, process-driven organization with a high-trust, small-business feel.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created, critical role designed to internalize the firm’s reporting expertise and eliminate reliance on manual tracking and outsourced partners. As the Reporting Specialist, you will "live and breathe" Addepar, a powerful and flexible financial reporting platform. You will own the day-to-day data management and report generation for complex family balance sheets that include traditional investments alongside real estate, private placements, and unique collectibles. This is an opportunity to be a foundational member of a rebuilding team, with a clear path toward leadership as you take full ownership of the reporting ecosystem.
What You Will Do
- Lead Addepar Management: Own the creation, configuration, and generation of reports within the Addepar platform.
- Manage ongoing data input and analytics for diverse asset classes, including investment accounts, operating entities, insurance policies, and liabilities.
- Configure multi-generational ownership structures and customized visibility rules to ensure accurate reporting for various family stakeholders.
- Build and maintain billing definitions at the household level to ensure proper configuration for finalization by the Director of Operations.
- Collaborate directly with internal advisory teams to implement new clients and formalize a scalable onboarding process.
- Identify missing data, clarify discrepancies, and perform manual updates for assets that do not link automatically, such as real estate and art collections.
Who You Are
- You possess strong experience in data management and reporting specifically within a financial services environment (RIAs, Multi-Family Offices, or Private Wealth).
- You are comfortable working in complex systems and have a demonstrated ability to maintain high data accuracy.
- Direct experience with Addepar is highly preferred; however, experience with comparable platforms like Black Diamond, Orion, or Tamarac will be considered for candidates with strong reporting fundamentals.
- You genuinely enjoy data organization, analytics, and the process of continuously improving a reporting system.
- You are comfortable working in a small-office dynamic and are willing to travel occasionally for firm events or the initial ramp-up period.
The Ideal Candidate is a reporting professional who thrives on the technical "heavy lifting" of data organization and enjoys solving the puzzles of complex financial structures. You are someone who wants to move away from "plug-and-play" reporting into a role where you can truly own the end-to-end process for sophisticated client families. While a degree is valued, the firm prioritizes practical experience and a proven track record of maintaining accuracy in complex financial platforms. You are likely seeking a role where your expertise directly impacts firm growth and where you can eventually transition from executing reports to leading the entire reporting function.
Why Join the Team?
This firm offers a rare chance to join a growing organization during a strategic reset, allowing you to help build the operational foundation correctly from the ground up. The culture is inclusive, respectful, and process-oriented. You will work in a high-trust, high-impact environment with meaningful upside, including a base salary, a performance-based bonus of 10–20%, and a full benefits package. As the firm executes its plan to double in revenue, your role is positioned for significant compensation growth and an expanded leadership scope.
